I didn't have any idea about the play (which I normally do to go for any movie/performance) when I started from home on Sunday afternoon. I prefer to go with blank mind to watch any performance so that I can enjoy it with the flow.
After reaching Rangashankara, I realized that there is a "Mango Festival" as well on that day. You bring at least 1 KG of Mangoes of any type with your family and you can enjoy Mangoes brought by others as well. It means by paying for one type of mangoes, you can get a chance of eating all different varieties of mangoes

Lovely concept, I must say.
I always appreciate the punctuality of the theater and I never saw any performance getting late. It was same on that day as well and It started exactly on time.
The stage was occupied by 3 guys all the times and one guitarist who was playing the guitar to give music whenever required in the play. Two of the three actors wore ghonghroos in one of their legs each. One wore in the left leg and another in the right leg. At that time, I didn't understand the purpose of doing so.
Two guys with ghonghroos were playing the character of a man and a woman belong to right and left parties. The ghonghroos in their leg were used to show the party they were supporting. They got to know each other one night which turns out to be a passionate night for them. As a result, they become parents of a boy. Conflicts between their beliefs trouble the kid's raise as he starts getting confuse with two different philosophies.
He becomes a writer at later stage when the censor doesn't allow his famous book in the country though that got lots of appreciation globally including the nobel prize. That's how he realizes that freedom of speech is violated in the country and he has limited options to fight for it. Next, he decided to join politics.
Being a renowned international personality, different political parties ask him to join their parties but he denies as none of those parties work on the fundamentals he believes in. He decides to form his own party. Other politicians didn't like it and started bringing him down in front of the public by all possible allegations. In the end, he doesn't even allow to go into politics and serve the country.
It was a very nice performance. Songs between the performance made the play more interesting. Humor level was on the decent level as it neither let the viewers get bore nor it let miss the important message the play wanted to convey to the public.
They announced it in the end that they are going to perform couple of last shows for it next weekend in the whitefield. So if you haven't watched it yet and are not planning to watch it then you are going to miss something for sure!!!
